Edinburgh Fort William ~135 Miles
The Gateway North
After a van handover and briefing at your chosen OHM Campers pickup location, grab last-minute adventure gear at Decathlon and food at the supermarket. Hit the road, stopping for snacks at the famous Green Welly Stop in Tyndrum, before arriving in Fort William to tackle the 17km Ben Nevis mountain path.
Fort William Skye ~80 Miles
Over the Sea to Skye
Start the day with a cooked camper breakfast before heading west. Pickup or brew a coffee at Kyle of Lochalsh while enjoying views of the Skye Bridge. Once on the island, hike the scenic 2.4km path to the crystal Fairy Pools beneath the Cuillin Hills, or hike our lesser known alternative to the fairy pools.
Skye Applecross ~75 Miles
The Applecross Pass
Leave Skye and prepare to cross the legendary Bealach na Bà. The instant EV torque makes this steep ascent an absolute dream. End your day soaking up the local atmosphere and incredible seafood on the coast.
Applecross Lochinver ~110 Miles
The Wild West Coast
Track the rugged west coast northwards. Stop in the ferry port of Ullapool for a rapid charge before pushing deeper into the remote, winding roads of the Highlands.
Lochinver Bettyhill ~95 Miles
White Sands & Shores
Navigate the far northwest corner of Scotland, where the roads are narrow and the scenery is vast. A rapid charge in Tongue ensures you have plenty of range to explore the northern edge of the map.
Bettyhill John O'Groats ~55 Miles
The Edge of the Map
Take a scenic morning run or dip on Melvich Beach before stopping in Thurso to restock the van's supplies. Pitch up for the night in our recommended John O'Groats campsite for clear, uninterrupted views over the water to the Orkney Isles.
John O'Groats Fortrose ~120 Miles
Heading South
Begin the journey back south. Stop at the Highland Farm Cafe or The Storehouse to enjoy incredible local Black Isle produce, then take the coastal path walk down to Chanonry Point for some world-class bottlenose dolphin watching.
Fortrose Bay Aviemore ~50 Miles
Into the Cairngorms
Drop into the Highland capital of Inverness for a quick Ionity rapid charge before winding your way up into the sprawling ancient pine forests and dramatic peaks of the Cairngorms National Park.
Aviemore Edinburgh ~125 Miles
The Final Leg
Say goodbye to the Highlands and cruise down the A9. A quick splash-and-dash charge in Perth (with a Starbucks right on site) gives you plenty of battery to roll effortlessly back into Edinburgh to drop off your van at OHM Campers HQ.
