Edinburgh Pitlochry ~70 Miles
Schiehallion Circuit
After your van handover and route briefing at Ohm Campers collection point, pick up supplies at Hermiston Gait (Decathlon and Tesco). Head north and wake the legs up on the Schiehallion Circuit, featuring the classic Etape Caledonia loops with smooth rolling tarmac. Refuel with local fish and chips at The Plaice To Be before pulling into camp for your first night.
Pitlochry Aviemore ~60 Miles
Cairngorm Mountain Climb
Welcome to the Cairngorms National Park. The main event here is the ride up to the Cairngorm carpark—the sixth highest mountain in Scotland. It is one of the classic Scottish hill climbs and an absolute must for any dedicated cyclist. Enjoy the incredible views and fast descent.
Aviemore Applecross ~100 Miles
Bealach na Bà Pass, Applecross
Stop for a rapid charge in Inverness as you track west. Today is the day you conquer the Bealach na Bà (Pass of the Cattle). This 86km loop features twisting, alpine-style hairpins rising straight from sea level. Reward yourself with a table at the legendary Applecross Inn for some world-class local langoustines.
Applecross Fort William ~105 Miles
Nevis Range, Fort William
Drop south with a scenic drive down the coast. Take an optional top-up at Kyle of Lochalsh to enjoy views of the Skye Bridge, then arrive in Fort William for a rapid charge. If your legs need moving, head up to Nevis Range for a gentle recovery spin or forest walk.
Fort William Callander ~90 Miles
Glen Etive, Glencoe
Head through the dramatic peaks of Glencoe to ride the mesmerizing, dead-end road of Glen Etive, famous for its appearance in James Bond's Skyfall. An out-and-back route from near the Kinghouse Hotel is highly recommended. Make your way south towards Callander to set up camp for the night.
Callander Edinburgh ~55 Miles
EuroVelo 1 Loop, Callander
Get the legs moving one last time with a morning spin around the lochs or the famous EuroVelo 1 gravel ride loop from Callander. Once you're done, utilize one of the multiple rapid charging options on the route back if required, and return your campervan effortlessly to Ohm Campers.
